Bahay Kubo Cultural Art Workshop

2024, 2025PINAYSPHERE, Museum of Ventura County, Simi Valley Public Library  Community Engagement A bahay kubo is a type of stilt house indigenous to the Philippines usually built using local materials. It is also an icon of Philippine culture. I prototyped and fabricated a Bahay Kubo cultural art workshop for the Museum of Ventura County (2024) and the Simi Valley Public Library (2025) for Filipino American History Month.
